Very happy to hear that the video I worked on with my brother Simon at Canada Footy News placed 2nd for best promo video at the 2016 PDL Golden Scarf Awards for marketing, creativity and promotion during the season. Out of 67 teams, our #Path2Pro video came in as 2nd runner up!

I love when this kind of stuff happens, we go to shoot with the boys from Freestyle Soccer United with my brother Simon from Canada Footy News and then this hummer limo pulls up and the girls from Calgary Blizzard FC get out for a photo session. So we challenged them to a Panna Competition. This is what doc filmmaking is all about, it was true when I was in film school and it’s true now, you never know where you’ll find a story.
This was really fun to shoot. Went downtown with my brother at Canada Footy News to shoot the boys from Freestyle Soccer United showing their style on a not so Lazy Sunday.
