Kickstarter video for Lovecraft Gallery

Had the pleasure of working with these two ladies for their kickstarter campaign for their artist gallery. It’s an incredible project, focused on independent artists, cultivating their craft in Calgary and helping them make it sustainable. If Calgary wants to grow as a cultural hub, it needs to encourage the growth of places like this.

Check out Lovecraft Gallery.

The General’s Connection presents: Ayamarca Festival of the Dead

Had the pleasure to attend and capture The General’s Connection Presents: Ayamarca: Festival of the Dead.

Fire performances, dancing, live bands, stilts, contests, Burlesque, Gorlesque (I knew this existed, didn’t know what it was called) Alt Culture in general. The face painting was pretty cool, love the “Dia de los Muertos” look, the Catrina look on people. This is just one part of Calgary’s diverse art scene that a lot of people don’t know about.

Calgary Business Recovery Task Force Video

Had the privilege of working on this video telling stories of how local business was affected by the floods in Calgary. Spent two days talking to business and charities in Mission and Inglewood.

Powerful stories, strong and brave people who’s livelihood was in danger. Inglewood and Mission are bouncing back but they need the support of the city, and not just government. Shop local and take the time to visit with them, their stories will amaze you.

Video produced by Vox Pop Media.
